The ECHO Cancer Foundation Welcomes Mary Brown as New Executive Director

The ECHO Cancer Foundation is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mary Brown, CAVS as our new Executive Director. We are confident that Mary will grow the capacity and impact of the foundation and continue to reinforce our mission of supporting cancer patients, their families and their caregivers throughout eastern Connecticut and southern Rhode Island. Mary brings over thirty years of expertise in volunteer coordination and management in the healthcare sector. In addition, she has been serving on the foundation’s fundraising committee helping secure sponsorship for the 2024 Beacon of Hope Gala being held on March 23, 2024 at Lake of Isles. She exudes a passion for ensuring that resources and financial support for cancer patients is accessible within our community at the local level.

In her role as Executive Director, Mary will work closely with our board of directors, volunteers, and community partners to grow fundraising efforts and impact for our existing programs and bridge the gap in support at the local level. Her vision and leadership will guide ECHO Cancer Foundation as we strive to make a positive impact in the fight against cancer.
