Meet Our New Social Worker: Antonio Okosky, LCSW

We are pleased to welcome Antonio Okosky, LCSW to the Social Work team at ECHO.

Anthonio is a certified licensed clinical social worker. He attended Le Moyne College in Syracuse where he majored in psychology. He went on to receive his Master’s in Social Work at the University of Albany in Albany, NY. He graduated in 2011 and spent years as a Bereavement Coordinator, a Group Facilitator for Hospice Care, and a Coordinator of Palliative Care at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for seven years. Most recently, he worked as a private practitioner in New London, CT where he provided individualized therapy with a focus on anticipatory grief, grief, and complicated mourning/prolonged grief disorder.

At ECHO, he works as a valuable part of our social work team where provides therapeutic services, as well as assists clients in increasing social support and optimizing quality of life.

He is on site Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am – 4pm and is able to see patients for therapeutic services in our office on an ongoing basis. We would typically refer these services out of our office. Now we are able to enhance the services we offer in our office to improve care and convenience for our valued patients.
