Dr. Kapur will be Featured Speaker Discussing Clinical Trials
Our very own Dr. Kapur is the featured speaker for the COA Patient Advocacy Network’s (CPAN) May Advocacy Chat. CPAN is a national patient advocacy network dedicated to educating and mobilizing advocates who care about cancer treatment and recovery and want to see lawmakers support it as well. Dr. Kapur will be joining COA’s Director of Patient Advocacy and Education Rose Gerber for a discussion on clinical trials, a vital yet misunderstood part of cancer treatment. Dr. Kapur and Rose will address common patient concerns, the history of the clinical trial process, and describe the process from the clinician and patient perspectives.
