The 2nd Annual Suzette Strickland Golf Tournament
We are pleased to announce the return of the annual Suzette Strickland Golf tournament. This tournament was launched in 2022 and was the brainchild of Charlie Strickland in honor of his wife Suzette, who was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in 2019. She was treated by Dr. Kapur and his fabulous team at ECHO and is now in remission. Having seen the financial struggles firsthand of fellow patients, the Strickland family has teamed up with The ECHO Cancer Foundation to raise money to support their amazing work.

About the ECHO Foundation
The ECHO Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization connected with Eastern Connecticut Hematology and Oncology. The foundation is dedicated to providing support services, guidance, and education to cancer patients, their families, and their caregivers. Our programs include:
- Holistic Health: Through a partnership with the Norwich Holistic Health Center, the foundation provides financial support for acupuncture, massage, and oncology yoga treatment.
- Rock to Rides: Provides transportation through UberHealth and Lyft Business to and from oncology appointments or other medical care appointments associated with a patient’s oncology treatment.
- Beacon of Hope: Provides snacks, coffee, beverages and lunch to patients, families, and caregivers during chemotherapy infusion appointments.
Registration
Registration cost is $250 per player or $900 per foursome. Registration includes:
- 18 hours of play
- Golf cart
- Access to driving range
- Gift bag
- 2 drink tickets
- Lunch at Triple T
- After Hours Reception
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team and longest drive
Sponsorship Opportunities

Lighthouse Sponsor – $5,000
- 4 tournament player spots (valued = $900)
- Company will be recognized as top sponsor and company logo will be displayed in every golf cart
- Custom branded golf balls and tournament swag
- Recognized as a lighthouse sponsor on all marketing material
- Plaque of recognition for sponsorship
Program Sponsor – $3,000
Program sponsorship supports a specific program of the ECHO Cancer Foundation and includes:
- 4 tournament player spots (valued = $900)
- Company will be recognized in the tournament and throughout 2024 as a program sponsor
Tee Sponsor – $500
- Tee Sign with Business Name placed on the golf course
- Recognized as a tee sponsor on all marketing material
In Memory Sponsor – $100
- In memory or in honor of tee sign placed throughout the course
In-Kind Donor (raffle prize, auction prize, etc.)
- Recognized as an in-kind donor during the event
