Join us For Annual Advocacy Summit

Here at ECHO we are big believers in the power of advocacy and standing up for ourselves. As an independent, community oncology practice, advocacy is incredibly important because we face regular challenges from insurance companies, government regulations, and more while trying to deliver the best patient care. If we did not advocate, then we wouldn’t be able to care for our patients.

With that in mind, I wanted to let you know about this exciting event we are joining next month to provide our entire community with important updates and knowledge about the issues that affect cancer care. On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, we will be joining cancer advocates across the country for a virtual Community Oncology Advocacy Summit!

This one-day event is being hosted by our friends at the Community Oncology Patient Advocacy Network (CPAN). This is a nonspecific cancer type network for patients and patient advocates which we are proud to be a part of.

CPAN is bringing an amazing group of experts together for this Summit – attendees will learn how to craft an effective story from their own experiences, hear about the latest news in cancer policy, and ask the experts in real-time for their advice.
