Karolyn Miner, APRN
Karolyn Pagan-Miner is an Army veteran and cancer survivor. She began her medical journey in 1995 as an Army Medic and medical lab technician. She completed UCONN’s accelerated BSN program in 2017 and worked as an emergency RN at a Level 1 trauma center. During this time, she developed cancer and learned about oncology from the patient’s perspective. Her oncology team made such an impression on her that she decided to pursue oncology as a provider so she could also help others in her situation. She graduated in 2022 with her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Quinnipiac University. Karolyn is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Karolyn Joined Eastern Connecticut Hematology and Oncology in July of 2022. She is part of the Acute Care APRN team where she provides patient care and coordinates care with the hospital inpatient team, palliative care, and ECHO oncologists. Additionally, she works as part of our triage team and chemotherapy education team. She has two amazing sons, loves to travel, and is an animal lover.
