Brittany McCall, MD
Dr. Brittany McCall grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville as part of their honors program, majoring in mathematics and biology and minoring in theater. She knew from a young age that she wanted a career in medicine as a way to combine her intellect and passion to help people.
She received her medical training at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina where she was awarded the Helms Award for excellence. She completed her residency at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She then went on to complete a hematology/ oncology fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Rhode Island.
Dr. McCall has done research and published numerous articles on blood-related cancers.
Her primary area of focus at ECHO is hematological disorders. This includes leukemias, lymphomas, and blood-related cancers. She also treats benign hematological conditions such as clotting and bleeding disorders. In addition, she provides generalized oncology care for solid tumors and other cancers.
As a physician, Dr. McCall believes that compassion and a personalized approach are the cornerstone of effective care. She values the role of a private practice which allows physicians to focus on patient care and innovation without layers of bureaucracy. She was drawn to ECHO since they have the resources and expertise to treat complicated diseases in a community setting.
Dr. McCall looks forward to sharing her expertise and building a strong rapport with patients starting in mid-October.
