Katelyn Spence, APRN
Katelyn Spence received her undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. She graduated in 2013 with her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Quinnipiac University, Hamden Connecticut. She previously worked for Hartford Healthcare Medical Oncology and Hematology at Midstate Medical Center.
Katelyn joined Eastern Connecticut Hematology and Oncology in April of 2017. In her role, she works with the multidisciplinary team to provide direct patient care for hematology and oncology patients. She has completed the Intensive Course In Cancer Risk Assessment. Katelyn has developed an interest in early cancer detection and risk reduction interventions. She is committed to enhancing her knowledge in the field of genetics and better understanding the role of heredity in cancer development.
Katelyn is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
