Congratulations to Our Award Recipients
In 2025, the Christie Beausoleil Happy Heart Award was established to recognized those individuals who truly make a difference. This award recognizes compassion, selflessness, and the quiet, powerful ways people choose to show up for others. Below are words from our very own Christie, as she recognizes this year’s recipients:
It was with deep honor and a truly full heart that, on Saturday, March 21, I had the privilege of recognizing two incredible individuals and one extraordinary family with the Christie Beausoleil Happy Heart Award.
Kayla Belisle embodies that spirit so beautifully. Though she may be quiet and humble, her actions speak volumes. With every act of kindness, every effort she makes to give back, she carries her grandmother’s love with her. And I have no doubt her Mimi is shining down on her, beaming with pride. Kayla is proof that even the softest voices can make the biggest impact.
Kai Brailsford is another example of what it means to give from the heart. Through his passion for art, he has found a way to not only express himself, but to lift others up. His dedication, his creativity, and his willingness to turn that passion into support for the ECHO Cancer Foundation is nothing short of inspiring. It’s a reminder that there are so many ways to make a difference and he chose to do so with purpose.
And then there is the Parsons family. Matt, Molly, and Connor who truly represent the meaning of community, love, and legacy. I had the privilege of meeting them through Laureen, and although she is no longer with us, her light continues to shine so brightly through them. They don’t do what they do for recognition, they do it because it’s who they are. Whether it’s showing up during the holidays with gifts, supporting families in need, or continuously raising funds and awareness, they lead with heart in everything they do. Their kindness ripples far beyond what we can see.
These awards are not just about what these individuals and this family have done, they are about who they are. And in a world that can sometimes feel heavy, they remind us that goodness, generosity, and love are still very much alive.
I am beyond proud to recognize them, and beyond grateful for the impact they continue to make.
With a very happy heart, Christie Beausoleil
