Thank You to Our Warriors!

On July 31, The ECHO Cancer Foundation was pleased to host our annual Warrior Night – a chance to honor and celebrate the strength of cancer patients and those who care for them.  Patients, families and staff enjoyed a pre-game BBQ, cheered on the Champion Norwich Sea Unicorns, and watched fireworks.

We received a lot of positive feedback. Below is one special email of gratitude:

• THANK YOU SO MUCH for an amazing night on Friday! My family and I are so appreciative for the tickets and BBQ, as well as the thoughtful planning that went into hosting Warrior Night. My husband bid on three of the ribbon jerseys worn by the players and won all three! They are longtime keepsakes for sure. I am deeply grateful to ECHO, especially Dr. Yang and the nurses, who never let me give up during chemo. . . lord knows I wanted to many times.  Your dedication and support made my difficult journey worth the struggles. Thank you to all of you who cared not only for me, but also my husband who was my caregiver. Your work and empathy are truly appreciated, and I will always remember the kindness and support we received and continue to receive.
